Contraindications:  Carpal tunnel syndrome, Dizziness, Diarrheam, High blood pressure or headache (support your head on a bolster or block)

(veer-ah-bah-dra-asana) 
Warrior II Pose  
Benefits: Strengthens and stretches the legs and ankles
Stretches the chest and shoulders
Stimulates abdominal organs
Increases stamina
Relieves backaches
Therapeutic for flat feet, infertility and osteoporosis
Contraindications: Diarrhea, High blood pressure and heart conditions, Neck problems (keep your gaze straight ahead with both sides of the neck lengthened evenly)
Therapeutic applications: Sciatica, Infertility
Anatomical focus: Shoulders, Front and back of the neck
     
Utthita Parsvakonasana
(Oo-Thee-tah parsh-vah-cona-Asana) 
Extended Side Angle Pose  
Benefits: Strengthens and stretches the legs, knees, and ankles.
Stretches the spine, waist and shoulders
Opens up chest and lungs
Stimulates abdominal organs
Increases strength and stamina
Contraindications:  Headache and neck issues (safe way is to keep the gaze to the front not up), Heart and hypertension, Insomnia

(mutht-see-ah-Aasana) 
Full Fish Pose (Advanced Variation)  
Benefits: Matsyasana is the “destroyer of all diseases”
Improves posture and strengthens upper back and neck
Stretches the deep hip flexors (psoas) and the muscles (intercostal )between the ribs
Stretches and stimulates the muscles of the belly and front of the neck
Stretches throat, balancing thyroid
Stimulates all the internal organs
Contraindications: High or low blood pressure (not to stay too long in the pose), Migraine, Insomnia, Serious lower-back or neck injury
